How did you get into CrossFit?
A friend who was training at BMC at the time convinced me to try it out
What was your first CrossFit experience (first class/intro) like?
My first class was humbling, I came in from a background of training at the gym and thinking I was strong and fit. Until I got destroyed in a running and pull up workout by Darren. Which made me realise how much variation I lacked in my training.
How long have you been coaching at BMC?
What is your favourite thing about coaching at BMC?
Helping members achieve things they never thought possible. Taking a new member who couldn’t squat without assistance to being able to squat with a barbell.
If you could have any other job in the world, what would it be?
My dream job has always been to open my own facility to help others achieve their wildest fitness dreams, so going from coach to box owner would be the dream.
What are your favourite and least favourite WODs/movements?
Favourite movements would be Snatch and any form of pull up/C2B/Bmu/etc… Toughest movements would be HSPU and Squats, but I love working on weakness so I guess I have no least favourite.

What do you do for fun?
Trick question, CrossFit. Hiking and swimming as well as Boardgames (especially chess) would be my biggest hobbies outside of CrossFit.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
Exercise of any sort and Peanut Butter, lots and lots of Peanut Butter.
