Weightlifting specific classes are coached by Matt 4 times a week. These classes focus on proper Olympic style weightlifting technique (The Snatch and The Clean and Jerk) as well as all other complimentary movements and skills needed to facilitate excellent weightlifting form.
Olympic lifting is a great way to develop speed and power and is a fun way to get into shape. Aside from helping you become a lot more efficient with both classical lifts, squats, presses and stability which can be transferred into your standard CrossFit workout, specialised weightlifting classes will familiarise you with all the necessary rules needed to take into your first lifting competition.
